I have been asked over and over again, about what is the best calling card to call the Philippines. I have had the best luck with Phone2Asia. I tried A LOT of phone cards when calling Niña, and this one is by far the best. The rates are good - and you can call just about any country using it. If you use it in the US to call someone else in the US, it is 3.5 cents a mintue. To call from the US to the Philippines, it costs either 15.9 cents a minute (regular phone) or 21.9 cents a minute if you call a cellular phone.
One of the best things about this card is that you can use this card to call the Philippines, but in the Philippines, you can use the same card to call back to the US. Yep - they have local access numbers in China, Hong Kong, Tiwan and the Philippines. You can charge up the card or recharge it from the internet, and if you share your pin number with your honey, she can call you using the same card - only it is on your bill. You also have detailed phone logs that you can print out that show the activity - helpful when needing proof of relationship when applying for that visa.
So, I recommend using Phone2Asia.
