5:14 PM, June 24, 2003 (24 hours travel time)
As I sat on my flight, waiting to take off from LAX to DFW, a man sat down next to me. He looked to be in his late 30’s, but he had all gray hair which made him look older. He seemed to be a nice enough guy. Somehow, and I forget how exactly, we struck up a conversation. My plan was to just watch a DVD on the flight home, and somehow I got talking with this man about his pending divorce, my trip to the Philippines, Niña, our cars (he has two Porsche and I have an Accura NSX, so we are both performance car enthusiasts). The time flew by on this flight, and I never opened the DVD player. Although I usually shy away from conversations with strangers on airplanes, this gentlemen (Hill) and I had a lot in common, and we became friends. I am currently trying to convince him to dye his hair so he looks younger, but he is getting women who dig his gray hair so who am I to say. ;)
