12:00 PM, June 24, 2003 (2.5 hours travel time)
It was time to board the flight from Cebu to Hong Kong. The flight seemed relatively full – most of the passengers seeming to be Chinese. Fortunately, no one was seated in the middle seat of my row (I had the window seat again) so I could stretch out a little and relax. This flight was completely uneventful. I was a little nervous about catching my connecting flight from Hong Kong to LAX since the layover was only an hour and fifteen minutes, but last time the gates were so close together, I figured I had nothing to worry about.
